kids room flush mount ceiling light?

What should I look for when searching for a ceiling light for a kids room? I want something classic that doesn’t scream “kids room”, not a chandelier, but flush mount that gives off enough light to be the primary light source for a pretty large kids room shared by a girl and a boy.

Really appreciate any inspiration!!

This VocgoUU RGB Flush Mount, 12 Inch Ceiling Light with Remote Control ($33) is kind of fun. The lights around the edge can be set to various colors and patterns while the main, white light has adjustable brightness and color temperature. Of course, this could result in obnoxious behavior by whichever child is holding the remote!
