My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Open floor plan help needed

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some help with decorating my open floor plan living and dining rooms. I have two rugs that I love, but they are very different in style and color. How can I make them work together in my space?
The first rug is a Timeless rug with a traditional floral print, hand-tufted wool, and a rich color palette of orange, brown, plum, and blue. It's from Jaipur Living and you can see it here¹. The second rug is a Gaia rug with a transitional filigree motif, a high-low carved texture, and a soft and serene colorway of blue and gray. It's from Jaipur Living as well and you can see it here².
I haven't bought any furniture or accessories except the sofa you see in the picture, so I'm open to any suggestions. What kind of table, chairs, curtains, etc. would go well with these rugs? What colors and styles should I look for? How can I create a cohesive and cozy look for my open floor plan?
