Foyer tile ideas needed

We are getting solid hardwood in white oak and we are contemplating about putting in tiles in the foyer. Here are some pictures and some tile samples we picked.
Would that black tile work?? What patterns ?
Should i get herringbone style?
We need more ideas

You have a lot going on in this foyer.

Where would you stop the tile? Looks like you have to go down that hallway too. Is that a dining room to the right of the door? Are you just going to make a random tile rectangle in front of the door? The photos don't show us the whole space.

I would do the same hardwood floor throughout the house, including foyer. You can't go wrong with a simple classic choice.
