Might have been to avoid slivers of tile by the door . Did the whole tiles just fitin the bathroom ? I usually place the transition strip under where the door comes so looks fine to me but not sure how the transition will be handled

Nope they did it this way on purpose could have gone to door. They say they always end here so carpet strip is hidden under door. I didnt really think about this beforehand just assumed it would go to door 🙈 Do you think its workable here or should I get it changed?

The seam should fall right under the middle of the door, so that when you look at the closed door, from either side, you can't tell that there is a different type of floor on the other side.

That is exactly what I do and pretty sure this will be like that

Thanks for the feedback. I was more concerned how the position of the transition would look as the bathroom doors are glass only 8mm 🙈
