Finding a cohesive look

last modified: 3 years ago

My wife and I are moving into a new building for the first time in 6 years. We're using it as an opportunity to update our living area for the first time. Currently, our design style is just replacing figure as it needs to be replaced without much direction. There are a few pieces we'd like to keep but are willing to get new couches, side tables etc. to try and tie it all together.

We like our coffee table and use the keg as an end table. They also seem to go well together. We also have the pictured TV stand that we're keeping. This small couch we're considering keeping, though the color can be changed by swapping the cover. We're also okay tossing it. We're planning on buying a nicer couch/sectional as the main piece in the living room.

Looking for advice on styles/colors etc. to tie it all together.
