What's the length and width? Just under 24' x 24' is fine with 9 or 10 foot ceilings. 8 foot in small spaces like halls and bathrooms. 9 foot in the master.

Optimal ceiling height is subjective. Some like it low and cozy and others high and soaring. Most of my ceilings are 12 ft with some 11 ft and 10 ft areas, but most of my rooms are medium/large sized.

I would visit as many new homes or model homes to get a feel for different ceiling heights. bring a tape measure or digital one and don't be afraid to take some room and ceiling height measurements and write them down.

The style of the house should influence ceiling heights as well.

Heating costs will always be lower with lower ceilings. Construction costs will always be lower with lower ceilings.

Everything else in subjective. Region and climate matter as well as budget.

In the US, most higher end is in the 10 foot and up range but it varies here based on region. I tend to think 9 is a nice compromise but I have 10.

And how do you describe this in meters? is 2.5 the standard and 3 considered tall?

What are the dimensions of the room that is 52 m2, and what is the function of such a large room? Also, are you planning to have all ceilings the same height throughout the house?

Consider your cabinet height and design when you decide ceiling height in the kitchen, especially if you don’t want a gap (to collect dust) between your cabinets and the ceiling. Speaking of the kitchen, if you put that long pantry hall on the other side, by the stairs, you could have windows in the kitchen, which many would find much more pleasant.

ETA: I made the window comment assuming this is a stand alone house, but maybe it’s a row house or other connected building? (Based on the long windowless wall.) Or maybe windows aren’t drawn in yet? In any case, the more info you give the more others can help you.

I plan to have same height in the leaving room and kitchen. Basically on that floor of the house. Both kitchen and leaving room have big windows. From kitchen there is a door and small teracce in a back yard.

This layout has kitchen workzone counter space limited by seating. My feeling is the seating is too much. 15 seats in a small area. How many people will need seating? Family size? The island lacks clearance at the wall end. I'm not seeing the value of the space used for the pantry(6) with the exterior entrance. I'd add that space to the kitchen. I'd remove the center 4-person table and chairs. 12" deep pantry cabinets are the most functional for identifying and accessing stored items.
