It must be wonderful to have so many great rebloomers though I wouldn't want your hot weather! I have none this year [though Belle Isle Sentry may send up scapes in Sept. as usual] but fortunately I have several seedlings and the VTs still going.

So many beauties: Stealth Bomber--it had its best year ever this year here and it was amazing. Also WEPD, High Water Mark, & Ranger Bod are all beauties! Mr. Mayor is nice too.

Thanks Brad. It is crazy to see them still pumping out scapes. I read an article from Mr. Trimmer on the CT daylily site when he said that fertilizing in November would give many more blooms, but I didn't think he meant re-blooms. But I do seem to have more blooms so he may be right.

Great rebloom Kay! It seems we have saying that for a long time. A little bit of that would be nice here. over the past six or so years I have had Undercurrent rebloom twice and Purple Paw Print rebloom once. Had instant rebloom on Coyote Moon once. I can only dream…..however, I agree with Brad that I wouldn’t enjoy the heat

Sherry, I thought I was down to just four or five more that hadn't rebloomed but While I weeded early, I found four more. Very excessive rebloom. I do wish everyone had the rebloom, but the heat is a stinker...I am sure Maryl, and Kate agree since Oklahoma and Mississippi are hot too. I suspect everyone gets a more heat than they want at times. It is the awful humidity that gets you.

Beautiful blooms Kay! I always love the ethereal look you get on Marseilles Watercolor. Dale’s Treasure looks like a winner. Great photo of Intelligent Design. The color on Ranger Bob is beautiful. Is this your first or second rebloom cycle on High Water Mark and Mister Mayor? Those both finished their first rebloom cycle here a couple of weeks ago before the deer ravages. Although you always have good rebloom it appears they are on steroids this season!!

Hi Kate, first on both Mr. Mayor and High Water Mark, but third on Marseille Watercolor. Mr. Mayor just put up one scape and then added two more a bit later while the first was still blooming. They are on steroids. I have reblooms that never rebloomed before and even Mean Green that bloomed its head off has a scape up. Several act if it is a whole new season with the scapes. I have watered one section, but the rebloom is everywhere. There have been 23 to 26 blooming all week weird. I so hate that the deer got into yours. Maybe that is one good thing (the only one) about all the dogs running around here in the morning and evening. I hadn't thought of that.

Dale's Treasure is eye catching. Its description says "tall heavy scapes." Your experience? Hot Buttered Rum does not have the color intensity that Butter Pecan does initially, but BP fades quickly in sun.

Mantis, The scapes are tall but not what I would call heavy but it was planted in spring and I suspect, as usual the next couple of years will show what it is actual like much better than this first blooming will.

Lighthouse Blaze is one I've not seen before. What prompted you to get that one (by, it appears, a Canadian hybridizer)?

The color and form. It is a large bloom tall, thick scapes and has rebloomed. I was buying Samsational from the breeder and it was the height and the color I wanted in a certain part of a particular bed. It has worked just as I wanted it to, so I am -pleased with it.
