Choosing shower wall panels

We have a 0.75 bath that is used sporadically. We had to gut it because of mold, so I am now piecing it back together. Determining what to use for wall panels in the tiny alcove shower (32"x34") is giving me the biggest problem. My criteria are as follows:

  1. easy to install
  2. low maintenance
  3. water tight (I've battled enough water issues in this house)
  4. budget friendly

I know that I don't want a traditional shower stall (I hate the look, and the molded corners take up so much valuable real estate). I've looked at SPC wall panels (mostly Miseno ReadySet and Onyx), porcelain slab shower walls, and Kohler Luxstone, but the negative (or absent) reviews have prevented me from making a decision.

What would you choose and why? Thank you for your help!
