I intern at a law firm and they asked me - since I'm the youngest person over there and they assume I must be more tech-savvy than them - to recommend an electronic filing system software for the entire office. Obviously, they do a lot of scans and email back and forth in a day, so implementing automation to keep everything in chronological order will surely come in handy. I imagine something that will act like a shared directory where each of them can log in and catch up on the latest docs and pdfs. That means quickly finding the latest scanned documents captured by the software, preferably with the help of OCR (optical character recognition).

Can anyone recommend an app like that, please? If possible, I'd appreciate something that easily integrates with Windows so there is as minimal set-up time as possible. I don't want to halt the overall progress with something too complex to achieve...
