help with dining room lighting

So our house was built in the early 80s and many of the designs make no sense!
I need help deciding on lighting for our dining room. We’re tried floor lamps but there just isn’t enough light. Hanging a ceiling light is out of the options as they are 16 ft. There was track lighting on the lower ceiling but we removed them as they were horrid! I’m not opposed to track lighting, I just haven’t found anything that I like and would work.
I’ve attached some pictures.

You could do a custom glass chandelier cascading all the way down. We have many different glass designs to choose from. Below are some images for reference.

hanging a light from the 16ft is an option its just how much do you want to sink into it.

otherwise you could go back with track and run it width wise and just add track heads.

you could also go back and add wafer style LED "recessed" lights. you could also hang the track on the green wall above the table and face the lights down.
