You can put glass French doors at the entry points. You can also have the glass etched for more opacity.

I think we need a to scale floor plan of the whole main floor . Do iton graph paper show all windows , doorways where those lead and all measurments clearly marked Post here in jpeg format in a comment DO NOT start another post.

I think you are maybe needing a piece which you can fold out when in use, and close up to put work away. Depending on your work needs, a writing desk? The more vintage ones have the idea, but possibly won’t work if you have multiple monitors… but I hope you get the drift..

Alond with the floor plan some info as to what you need for your job. I have seen some pretty cool offices in armoires so check them out maybe in the space where you have the small cabinet by the doorway. So much can be wireless now thta maybe the one office left can handle the printer etc.

Can you add more images of the space? It looks like you could do French doors in the opening, but otherwise it is hard to give much advice. We'll add some pictures that could give you some ideas for your new home office.
