Ilve vs Hallman vs Bertazzoni Heriatge

We have an all gas Bert master series and like it a lot. For our kitchen remodel we want to upgrade to at least a 36” range, likely all gas. I am intrigued by the Ilve Nostalgie line and would love to hear experiences. How do they compare with the Bertazzoni Heritage line? Hallman?

The Ilve color choices and price points are very attractive however I am concerned by reviews citing loud fans. The oven sizes are much smaller than Bert’s. We need to be able to fit large cookie sheets and occasionally a medium-sized turkey into the oven (not at same time as cookie sheets).. I adore the graceful Bertazzoni round temp gauge, however I am not sure it is worth paying $5k-ish more for the Bert if the Ilve suits our needs and the fan isn’t too loud. I adore the brass on the Ilve and am miffed that Bert charges $1,400 extra for that. I also wish Bert offered more color choices.

Complete junk with no real service. You can fit more in a Bluestar 30” oven than you can in a 36” of most of them. It will fit a full sheet pan.

You can even have Barbie Pink, if you want color.

The Bertazzoni MAST365GASXE ($4400), Bertazzoni PROF366GASXT ($5800) and Bertazzoni HERT366GASXT ($9000) are the same except for appearance, brass burners, and two 19K burners on the Professional and Heritage models that replace the aluminum and single 19K burner on the Master.

Bertazzoni specs don't include its oven size but the Ilve's oven is the same width as the one in my LG 30" range.

I would look at the new Hallman Classico Series. Amazing deals right now given their new launch.

I have had a Hallman 48" in daily use for 3 full years, LOVE it! Plenty of room...I cook for 6 everyday. I used a local install company, tech said that it was a simple range, easy to work on, manual calibration. Ilve Nostalgie is the same as the Hallman. I just wanted to add this here because some "pros" think that every Italian range is junk, nooo. Lemons happen in every brand.

I love my Betazzoni all gas range 36" 6 burners one of them a wok burner that I also use to bolil big pots of water quickly and also a simmer burner. All gas convection oven. I also have doulble electric convection wall ovens I run a catering biz from my home . No service calls in 16 yrs and often that range runs 6-8 hrs in a day.BTW IMO no one needs a48" range with all the cost of MUA and the noise of that much venting I often cook for 50 and maybe 4 x that sometimes and have never found I need a 48" range . BTW I ampro and have never found much made in Italy that was junk

patricia why are you attacking MY post?? You should come up with something more interesting than always bashing a 48" range selection when the OP never even mentioned wanting one! After repeating your lines for decades...time for new ones that actually help? I was talking about "lomo" who can never find anything good outside a Bluestar...so boring. I wasn't talking about YOU, but I guess everything in your world is about YOU. OP had a concern about oven sizes on an Ilve, I offered her my OPINION since I have one of the oven brands she was questioning. Why is this site just an attack on anyone who doesn't support Bluestar or induction? I thought that in America you were allowed to think independently??
