I’ve never seen a carport like that before. Did there used to be 2 garages and they were turned into living space? The driveway makes it look like there used to be garages there. It would have seemed more logical for the carport to be built off to the left, but if the driveways were already there …

I’m trying to add the before photo. It had a little add on carport that was attached to the house for two cars before. I just think this looks ghetto.

Is that roof integrated into the house roof. Hard to see from the pictures.

It’s the same structure sitting behind any quick oil change place with picnic tables underneath. It is not attached and there are no gutters so all the rainfall it’s the concrete below. Massive foundation issues

Tear it down, and have a proper carport built.

Tear down is what I would do. Its not a nice looking structure. It looks a bit out of place. A new structure that is integrated into the roof and looks like it is part of the house would look a lot nicer. However, I guess, you could also put gutters on it and drain all the rain water away, if you dont want to remove it.
