Here’s one of Rebecca Roberson’s designs that I love. Placing two hanging pendants or placing lamps to either side help frame a tv and give enlarge the focal point.

The TV isn't close to taking over the room ... if anything it looks a bit undersized for the space.

Design a gallery wall around the Frame TV to fill in the rest of the wall space and make that smaller TV size look intentional.

I would suggest hanging a larger tv first.

Do you think you might be able to add floating shelves on either side of the TV? Maybe some sculptures on top of the current console you have? You could even paint the wall to make it an accent wall.
