Awhile back I did that with a few recipes which I wanted to save, which were scrawled on scratch paper without names, and I had half guessed one and didn't know the others at all, though I’d obviously made and kept them. CF identified them in no time. ;)

Did you by any chance watch Crime Scene Kitchen? That was fun, but I would have been out the first week :)

This somewhat reminds me of a 4-H Christmas party when I was 10 years old. The boys were asked to write down a recipe for a cake (any cake of their choice), and the girls were asked to write down instructions for lubricating a tractor. I wrote down my favorite recipe for a chiffon cake with very detailed instructions and expected to get rewarded for that, but instead the adults decided to read the worst recipes and laugh at them. They also read the worst descriptions for how to lubricate a tractor. I thought this was stupid, not to mention sexist. I had won a blue ribbon for my chiffon cake at the county fair, and so at least I had that.

You're a good sport, Lars. After the effort and taking the task seriously, I would not have been pleased. Maybe I am being a curmudgeon, but the behavior of the “adults” was insulting.
