Where would you add recessed lights in the living room & hallway leading up to the bathroom? The dining area will be closed to create a small second bedroom, kitchen will be opened up with an island. TV will be mounted on wall shared by the living room & second bedroom.

I need to add bulkheads to add the recessed lighting. Ceilings are only 8 ft so I want bulkheads to be as small and minimalistic as possible. There is no existing light fixture in the living room, just one in the middle of the existing dining area.

Apartment faces north so no direct sunlight, but high floor with nothing blocking windows so its still a fairly bright apartment.
