Help with Bosch Dishwasher Beeping

Hi there,

I recently installed started using the SHPM98W75N but there is some beeping issues from my first 2 cycles. Around 1 minute into a cycle, the dishwasher has a double beep for around 5 minutes after which it stops beeping and continues to operate normally. I hear that it is spraying water and things are moving, but the beeping is loud at the beginning. There are no error codes when I open it and I don't seem to see anything in the manual about it. I only load the detergent pod and no rinse aid. Please see the video for reference. Has anyone ever dealt with this? Thank you!

I notice on your video that the Rinse Aid indicator is lit on the display. You say you aren't using rinse aid. The machine expects it, and requires it for proper drying performance. It monitors the supply in the dispenser and illuminates the display indicator when empty or low as a reminder to refill. The beeps may be related to that. Set the dosage to zero if you refuse to use rinse aid, which should turn off the indicator, and beeping if it's related. See your user instruction manual for how to adjust the dosage (0 to 6, 5 is factory default). Note that machine will increase the water heating temperature in the final rinse to compensate for lack of rinse aid, which increases energy consumption and cycle time.
