Any other options available? I would start over looking into Fiberglass, either Elevate or Essentials from Marvin. Neither of your current choices are a well regarded product or manufacturer.

We are in central alabama. Any advice for black windows that won’t fade as easily are appreciated. We have already priced marvin and they are out of our budget. It’s hot and humid in alabama.

Just as a point of reference, which Marvin was priced that is out of budget? How many windows do you have on the home? What type window (double hung, casement, etc.)? Any sliding or hinges patio ty[e doors? Approximate budget?

We were quoted the Marvin essential 39k We were quoted about 19k for aluminum clad Windsor. Also got quoted serra pacific H3 for 34k. And of course builder grade white vinyl for 7k. Not gonna lie, I can’t answer all the other questions as this is my first time buying windows. We have about 18 windows similar to the pic below.

Would like to stay under 20k

I’ve requested a quote on Anderson 400 today but it’s not ready yet.

100 Series Andersen may come close, 400's will probably be right around the Essentials. Under 20K for a window of any quality will be tough I am afraid.
