Which bathroom floor would you most like to inherit?
Hello! We are remodeling our bathroom and I'm stuck on which direction to go for our flooring. Which flooring do you like the best, Example A or Example B? (In other words, if you just bought a small country home, which bathroom flooring would you rather inherit?)
A) Milkstone
B) Turkish White
Originally I liked A best. I thought it came across more like 'stone' (instead of gray wood - I do not want that look). I would get a Cider Oak vanity to go with it, similar to the picture of the foyer, to warm it up a bit. I love the look of that foyer in the second picture. But I have three concerns: 1) That it may look more like grey-wood flooring instead of stone, 2) That it may look too 'blue' in our bathroom, and 3) Due to the hue of blue (and perhaps some cream, gray, and pink-beige?) that it might be restricting for decorating.
I then started liking Example B, because I thought it looked bit more classic (I think it's a marble-look?). My concerns are: 1) That it may look too 'classic' or 'elegant' for our small home, 2) That the pattern may look too busy for our small bathroom, and 3) I'm not really sure what color of wood cabinet would go with it (we'd prefer not white or grey).
Anyway... I'm not really a great home decorator, and I don't have a natural 'keen eye' for colors and how to pull things together. :( I don't mind if it doesn't look AMAZING. I'm just hoping to not pick a flooring that would turn off a lot of potential buyers. Thank you in advance for any thoughts and opinions you are able to share!!

I like your idea Susan of finding some inspiration pictures. I have been looking some this week. I tend to just shop around for the 'product' that I'm looking for (with some vague idea in my head), but I do not naturally have a keen eye. Combing through a lot of pictures has helped me hone in a bit more on what I'm hoping to achieve.
Yes, gray.... I love gray :/ (Before the gray trend!) But I don't want to re-do everything and have it instantly look outdated.
Susan, I do have pink-beige carpet, for sure! (I have just started reading a bunch of stuff on Maria Killam's website about color/undertones, and I'm starting to see the differences.)
For bathrooms, especially more traditional homes, I've seen her recommend lots of ceramic tile, hex tile, lots of white, black, marble, etc. We don't have hardwood floors throughout the home, mosty carpet. So I'm going with tile-look for the bathrooms.
For us, ceramic tile is out (for various reasons). And there's a lot of wood-look LVP and very 'busy' brown/gray LVT choices out there. So I thought I'd try to get something as light, simple, and stone-like (or marble-like) as I could get.
When I said 'classy' earlier, yes I did actually mean 'formal!' Our house is not very high-end or formal at all. When I look at the marble choice that I shared in my original post (Turkish White) it does look a little too formal or elegant for my house.
What do you guys think about a more simple marble-look tile? Do you think a marble-look tile could be ok for a country home, if it was more simple with less veining? I found this one yesterday:

^ I like this room the most, because it feels the most 'finished.' But I'm hoping to veer away from a dirty/muted look, and more towards a clean look.
