Building a Home Bathrooms Flooring

Mudding Bathroom Floor Question

Tile installer laid tarp and made cut out for the air condition vent hole yesterday. Today they mudded the floors, but I noticed they mudded over my air condition vent hole covering it. Is this normal? Do they cut out the vent hole after the mudding dries?

Yes, they should and it's easier to mud over it as long as it's covered and no debrirs is getting in the vent. They probably mapped it for cut out. One way to do it.
