Find another fabricator

Every once in a while we see a level of cluelessness that calls for immediate termination without giving a chance to make it right. This is one of those times.

WOW this is a mess you are right. I agree this guy is not able to make this right. I would not have him with 10 miles of my kitchen for sure

Definitely don't have them do any other work in your house. I'm guessing that they don't use a laser to 3D map the wall edge for imperfections and curvature. A good fabricator nowadays will have technology to be able to map out all of the countertops and use automated machines to make cuts to match the templating. Ideally, you should find a fabricator that will allow you to be involved in the computer templating, where you get to see what part of each slab will be used for specific areas of the home. You should also be able to pick the slabs you want, especially if you pick a granite that has variation from slab to slab.

I hope you're not putting an electrical outlet on the waterfall edge. It will defeat the purpose of the waterfall edge.

What does the architect say?

It is unacceptable. The worst thing is the owner of the company says it’s no big deal.

I would be very concerned that the owner of the granite fabrication company would say it's no big deal, and also concerned that your GC would pick this company. It looks like you had your home architected by a high end architect (based on their portfolio) and the quality of the construction should match the upscale design of the home. Does your GC think this is acceptable? Hopefully they have connections with a much higher quality granite company.
