decorating help with entry.

Hello, I would love some design/decorating inspo for this entry way, but keeping in mind that I am not looking to do major renovations right now. We prefer clean lines, modern/Scandinavian aesthetic.
Thank you!

That doesn't look like the best place for a mirror. I would put the mirror on the closet wall (where there is currently art), and art where the mirror is. Since I can't see the closet wall I'm not sure that is the best place for it, but it looks lost where it is now. Even if you like a pared down aesthetic, the space is monochromatic, so I think a rug would help as la_la_Girl suggests. In the absence of color you need some texture.

the photos are too close, need a little more perspective... I would move the plant away from the door... put it on the other side, interior, not by the door.

swap the mirror and the framed art. then put the table under the mirror.

IMO a great piece of art you love to replace the mirror that reflects nothing worth seeing twice . No fake plants and maybe a nice real orchid plant on that table , no family photo and if possible a nice lamp maybe a small stool under the console to help people with shoes on and off There is IMO no space for the console on the mirror wall. BTW I would get the biggest piece of art that fits there .Maybe a mat at the door

Where the current art is located is a hallway to the living an kitchen/back of the house. It’s narrow. I had put the mirror under the light so people can look at themselves when they come and go. Do you think the mirror should still be in the hallway? I can’t put anything that juts out on the current mirror wall because the closet doors open there:(

I like the mirror there - agree it gives you a chance for a quick check as you head out the door

ETA - could be fun to run some black and white geometric wallpaper on the mirror wall up to the ceiling —

FWIW i think everything on the console table is too small so it looks cluttered, I would work on a lamp there and some larger accessories

Ruggable has some terrific rugs that could bring that space together - I would look at their darker patterns that have some black

Why there two black console tables? It seems redundant. Ditch the one in front of the closets...it looks like it's in the way anyways.

The mirror looks off, perhaps try some artwork there and place the mirror above the plant near the front door. Then try adding a rug with some color and maybe an orchid on the console table.

Maybe look at getting a mirror that is more artistic or replace the mirror with some artwork you love. Take a moment to view the entryway designs included here.
