Yeah, it’s a laundry room. If one countertop is patterned, try to find a coordinating solid.

You could use a plain color that picks up one of the colors in the existing countertop. It is much easier to see things like beads and pins on a plain surface than a patterned surface.

What are the counters on? If it’s a craft table doesn’t matter. If it’s over the washer and dryer make sure it’s light enough to be removed for servicing- laminate or wood work best.

Thanks, but washer is front loading so washer and dryer will not have a top. But one thing to consider in my wish to have as uniform look as possible--a problem since the appliances are a stark white and I really do not want that on the other countertops--prefer off white.
