The wall has about 97 inches (not including where the door comes into the room). So changing the doors would work. I like your idea of a low headboard bed. That may also help. My bedframe is low to the ground but the headboard is tall 😕

Hi. Here's a wild card idea. Fix the left hand door to be stationary, essentially treating it as a wall. Or, actually remove it, make a wall there and have a single entry door on the right. Neither option actually extends the bed wall but prevents the door from encroaching on the bed space and may allow for a small nightstand on that side.

You have a lovely room focusing on that beautiful landscape! But I always wonder why rooms are designed to force a plan. I've played around with it and IMHO these are the only floor plans to consider, keeping in mind the feng shui you mentioned. I haven't studied feng shui, just lightly read some instructions in the past and the only rule I remember is not to have your feet face the entrance, must have a solid headboard, not under a window and not to be reflected in a mirror when sleeping. There you go.

The first plan is a classic layout which the room dictates. You have the room for two small nitestands and hang wall sconces for lighting and not lamps. Everyone has a preference as to the size of the nightstands which is very personal.

The second plan is something out of the ordinary which I like to submit to my clients, by thinking of alternate non-conforming layouts.

The headboard in this plan can be any height from a low upholstered screen to a full wall, to an undulating sheer fabric panels ceiling to floor. Walking into your room, the focus will be on the far corner, so consider large art and a welcoming vignette.

I'm curious as to what other suggestions will be posted.

I'd do Denise's first plan. (But spoiler, that's what my room has too, though it's much smaller so no sofa; the wall is up against the left nightstand.) It works well, though.

You could try the king bed in front of the windows or on the blank wall between the bathroom door and entry door. A few bedrooms we have designed are included here for some more help if needed.
