dining room drapes

Single rod across or individual rods between windows?
Contemporary style should have pleats?

Nice room! Will you post a wide view? The living area looks fairly open and what happens in the dining room should relate to the rest of the space.

Such a beautiful view, I think I would put up solar shades if you get intense sun at certain times of day. Or you could hang outside mount roman shades. Otherwise, leave them bare. On the left side of the right hand pair it doesn't look like you have enough room to stack drapes, but you could stack a double pair on the right side if you really want drapes.

Beautiful space and view. What you have done so far is excellent (and I can rarely say that).

Any advice you receive, without photos of all 4 walls is not relevant.

Design happens with the entire space in mind.

    1) Can you please take a photo from all 4 angles and standing away from the window. Need to see what is going on in adjacent spaces as well.

    2) Is there any functionality that you need with window treatments? Light-blocking, etc.

    3) Finally, are drapes a feature you like? Are you open to other ideas? I think drapes could work, but also other treatments could.

Why any drapes at all. What direction do you face ?If heat and UV is an issue do some motorized solar shades they control heat and UV but allow you to keep the view. You do not seem to have a privacy issue so IMO simple like the rest of the space minus the balloons

The room needs softening along with wall art so that's why fabric. Eastern exposure windows. Rug is sisal.

I like the idea of drapes for softening as well as to complement the height of the tall bricks. Would be great to see straight on photos of each wall. Otherwise, that is what I'd recommend.

Nice view and a better view from living room which I will preserve without any treatment. Drapery panels would serve as decorative feature only

I'm anti-window treatment for your dining room but if you are going to do them, I'd do a single rod on each wall. Less visual clutter.

Before you pull the trigger, carefully consider how the drapes are going to stack when open. You don't seem to have a lot of space in the corner, you may end up covering more of the windows than you'd like.

Using drapes as a decorative feature may detract from your stunning views. On your blank dining room wall, consider a long console/sideboard with large art pieces on the wall.

No drapes, please. Keep it simple, solar or Roman shades, cellular, or do what I do with view windows, UV tint, there are so many products available now to cut heat, fading that are undetectable. Get your ”softness” via art, plants, accessories & ?
