Do you know what the two switches up at 6' on living room wall between the kitchen and living room are for?

Perhaps somethings that needed to be toddler resistant.

Other ideas might be an attic light, if located close to the attic access. Or whole house fan (although this switch often has a speed control, it could also be a simple on/off switch.). Or, some kind of a custom switch installed by the previous owner, such as for outdoor holiday lights. The high location on the wall implies that they didn’t want them to be accidentally turned on or off, but it could also be that the wires were too short. Aka, a DIY special!
