I just tried to post in Design Dilemma and received the same message and was booted right off Houzz. I was able to start a thread here and was able to click that it also should post in Design Dilemma and it seemed to work. Odd.

I was able to start a thread on the quilting forum yesterday.

I’m having lots of trouble with the site lately.

I’ll test if I can start a thread, brb …

ETA: Surprisingly, I was able to start a thread! (I deleted it.)

I used to have trouble commenting on my phone, where it would repeat or delete words willy-nilly. Then it worked fine for a few month.mNow it lets me type one word, then erases it. Type next word, erases it.

Those and typing oddities happen only on Houzz (on my tablet) and GardenWeb (on the phone).

Thanks for the replies! I'm not sure why it's been failing so much for me then. I never use my phone to access houzz, and I am getting the error both on my ipad and on my regular computer.

I've always had typing oddities on houzz -- none of the ipad features like auto-complete or auto-caps work. Yesterday I turned on dictation to write a reply to a post and it became such a muddled mess that I had to delete the entire thing. lol!

eta: yay, I kept trying and was finally able to post something. :)

I just started a thread today on KT and there were no issues.

So far, no posting issues today … not technical, anyway. I did just get a big reminder of why it’s a waste of time posting on Design Dilemma, though. Someone please put a lock on my iPad so I stop going there.

What and miss out on all the drama?

Oh, it was the usual suspect sitting on her high horse and making pronouncements about decor and people's life choices. I feel like I should be a little more empathetic because she clearly has issues but she doesn't make it easy.
