patio placement and pigment

I’ve looked online but can’t find any helpful info

We are pouring a concrete patio or two.
The primary function of the patio is dining to seat 12. Also would like a second multipurpose area, seating space (for 6-8) +- small fire pit.

Two questions for you:

  1. Concrete pigment: backyard soil is mostly clay, and the red color gets all over everything. I don’t really want a colored pigment to stand out, just to blend in and patina overtime rather than trying to maintain the stark white concrete look. Path is PA bluestone. Suggestions for pigment color?

  2. Location / shape of slabs:
(Note: where that unpainted wood landing is now will be slightly extended to build stairs down from the landing to dining concrete patio and the old stairs existing on the other side will go away. Thinking two separate slabs? Dining slab goes about where dining table is now (much longer). Seating slab goes where trampoline is? We have some large rock/small boulders we’ve salvaged in that we will flank the corners with, eventually it would be fun to do a dry stack wall, but that’s not in the budget right now. Considering small corner concrete seating wall as well?

I’d love your thoughts
