2 years later our bedroom is still a blank, clinical canvas. The bed must stay, no options to buy a new one. We need:

• paint / wallpaper - for colour and warmth
• new curtains and blinds (roller?)
• new bedside tables
• all finishing touches eg: pictures, lamps, mat, bedding, etc

We have an IKEA Malm set of 6 drawers. We do need a new wardrobe for our hanging clothes. There probably isn’t enough room in bedroom for 2 pieces of bulky furniture so if the Malm stays in bedroom, the wardrobe will go in spare room. Alternatively, a (mirrored?) wardrobe will go in our bedroom and the Malm in the spare room.

I’ve included photos of the Malm on both walls to see what suits best.

Ideas please! In desperate need of a cosy sanctuary to retreat to in the evenings and it feels more like a science lab! 🙈
