For safety …a rug at an entry door …..should be a doormat construction…with a solid rubber backing that won’t wrinkle or slide.. in cases where surrounding flooring is tile that will be slippery when wet..be sure the rug is absorbent enough…to dry the shoe bottoms before entering

Your table set above has lots of straight lines and angles..i would try a round fabric piece in the center…to soften the over all look rather than a runner

I have two rugs for my back door area..if a good price keep them both I like switching them up when washing the other one.

I like both of the rugs I do that too when one's getting washed I have the other one now

Hi ladies, I need to change out the light fixture in the upstairs hall outside of bedrooms and bathroom. I need some suggestions pls. Also what do you think of this fan/light in front entranceway? Is it too short? What about the style?

I don't really would have put a fan in my entryway is it very hot there just to get AC does the fan help the stairway if there's a stairway like going to the basement or up the stairs to your living room I would have put it in my living room I seen some people had them in their hallways the height of the fantas ceiling is fine or if you do anything in living room you might want to ride if you're selling that high the higher the ceiling it's nice to have a rod the lower the ceiling you wanted to hug it I thought we already did the light in the hallway maybe I mixed up with somebody else you could get one that comes down a little for your hallway if you want

If you're keeping your fan in that entryway lower your art especially if you put a rod in does that art being so high does it come over to your living room area that you like to see it or did you want something interesting in your entryway?

Hi Janice the plant I like unless you need light there then a lantern or candle would do it looks nice and cozy there and I would have to look for a light later for you I found this make sure you measure how wide this hallway is so you don't get the fan too large and if you want to light or no light

Good morning, I'm wondering if the rug should this area rug under my sectional couch at the wall should be placed on it like the section of the sectional is in front of the window or will it look uncentered on the floor space. The square stacking end tables will sit completely on it but the round end table won't and then the two stools will also sit on the floor. I'm including a pic of how it looks at the moment.

Is there any reason the rug can’t be centered in the space?…are the little stools used as seating?…does the couch recline…and how do you access the window coverings?..plus how do you accommodate drinks..snacks..?….these questions need to be answered …..since function is as important as balance and visual appeal .

A view of the other end of the room…and location of stairs will also help

The tangle of cords is troubling as well…even hazardous if you need to get behind the couch there

Lastly …is the tv located so it is comfortably viewed from all the seating?

The rug can be centered in the seating area. Then each piece of the sectional will be completely on the rug. The stools are for sitting on if company comes. Otherwise they are there unused. I get behind the couch for the blinds by going around the round end table and behind the sectional in front of the window. There is plenty of room in front of the bay window. There is no way to avoid the mess of cords. They are all needed. Each end of the sectional reclines.

If can put sec;on wall side. U can still watch tv. No tripping on cords. Benches at window.

Those drapes pull open with a remoter cord right? What don't you like about your living room?
