LED bath bar light experience

I need to replace both sink faucets and over mirror vanity lights for double sink L-shaped vanity in master bath. Because my house is a traditional ranch, I initially did not consider LED bath light - seemed modern. The more I look at it tho, I like it. And I am changing from a centered faucet to just a 1-handle, so it seems that the 2 might help it to feel less cluttered/chaotic.

Have you used these lights? Are they helpful for actually seeing or just for being seen? There is another ceiling light that provides light as well, but these would be for make-up, shaving etc. And if you know of one that is more traditional design, please share. There is no room on the sides so it will have to go above the mirror.

I have not found "the one" yet - to me, they all look like a baton/wand with a little bit of metal on it lol. I suppose that simplicity is a huge reason for the appeal to me. But we need functional foremost - aging eyes and skin...

Yes and yes. I only have a one vanity light over my double-vanity (Tech Lighting LUFE SQUARE 48 BATH) and its whopping 4200 lumens output is so bright that it needs a dimmer to avoid making the bathroom look like a movie set.

I don't know your preference but perhaps a vanity light such as this or this would work.

@wdccruise I had not considered it might be too bright - a dimmer sounds necessary now. The ones you shared are quite tasteful and seem to go with many styles. Thank you!
