Bathroom spruce up

My bathroom is a bit outdated. I am saving money for a remodel, but in the meantime, I wanted to do some easy things to make it look better. I’m going for a modern glam. Look in the rest of my house. What colors should I repaint the cabinets and mirror frame. What colors towels and runners should I have? I included a palette . I generated from the countertop. Please help.

I wouldn't waste money having the cabinets painted if you're saving for a remodel. (If you were going to DIY, be sure to look up the correct method and products, you can't just slap some wall paint on them and expect it to last.) I would just replace the light fixtures. Those don't have to be expensive and can be more up to date. Your bathroom isn't that bad. If you don't spend any money on it now you will reach your savings goal for a complete remodel faster. Natural wood is back "in" for vanities anyway.

It could be very dramatic to paint the cabinetry and frame the darkest tone from your pallette. That gives you a range of relative neutrals in the fixtures, to which you can add some colorful rugs, updates lights, and other touches with personality.
