Looks like a cobalt blue in a flat sheen

The bookcase backs are actually painted in Satin finish, which is the finish we usually like to give to millwork. We would never recommend applying any flat paint finish to millwork or cabinets of any kind. The color used was a very soft grey-blue which fed from the blues in the wallpaper which is adjacent to it. The exact color is Benjamin Moore Bachelor Blue #1629.
