It sounds fabulous. Does the wallpaper come in blue or is this something you will paint on the walls? What else will be in the room to support the bold walls?

you are right, friday—- that wild abstract pattern shown above would be a fun (easy?) diy project for people who might not get into some of your level of craft projects.

If one is hesitant to just go for it, a smaller pattern could be drawn on graph paper first.

I don’t have any other ideas other than the wall paper at the moment, I’ve been using Pinterest for inspo. I was thinking of doing the wallpaper as an accent behind the couch? I’m having a hard to deciding a wall really. What do y’all think ?

Can you post some of the inspirational photos you found? Unless there are architectural features to call attention to, I typically prefer an accent wall to either be the wall that is seen when you first enter the room or the ceiling.

You don't have a lot of light in the room and what little you do have is sucked up by the floor and furniture. Doing something to the wall won't fix those issues. I would concentrate on adding more lighting and adding a bright rug. Then work on the wall.
