I want more privacy on my full light energy star metal doors. I bought honeycomb blinds which need to be clicked into a bracket. My husband is afraid the metal screws into the door will alter the insulating value of the door in our cold climate. I can’t get a satisfactory answer from inquiries I’ve made. Should this be done? If not, what are my options for installing the blinds on the doors? (They are newer doors which I am not willing to replace or replace the glass part.)
