That's a very fair price. Two guys, half a day shot with drive time.

Surprised that it's that much, but also makes sense that perhaps they are pricing it as a new job. It seems you have about 18 sq ft in that section, which would equate to roughly $72 / sq ft. That's how much you'd pay for new granite, including material and fabrication. I personally would get more quotes. It's also possible it's such a small job that this is the minimum they are willing to do it for. I'm guessing this could done in less than an hour.

I think it sounds fair, and if they are the installers, that removed it and were careful, not to cause damage to backsplash etc, I would want them back to replace it, because you know they are being very careful. Even if you have to pay part of it yourself, its worth it, since you know they are doing their best.

Thank you. I just had no idea. I was thinking at first that it was probably the same price as getting new (which is unnecessary). I’m also praying my nice Blanco sink it still holding its seal in the garage because it is still attached to the granite and laying in a weird position but my adjuster said it was fine. We will see!
