Hi,

I'm in the market for a new sofa and am seeing a lot of polypropylene and olefin.

Are these fabrics better than 100% polyster for a couch? I'm thinking that polyster is higher quality, am I correct?

What's more important - the fabric material or double rub percentage?

I have samples of many different fabrics (Room and Board) and some of the polypropylene seem ok (while others feel scratchy and plasticy), but I'm not sure if I should go that route if I don't have a cat that will be scratching, etc.

Also, are one type of fabric more "hot" to sit on that others (meaning, do they make you warm because they don't breathe as well)?

Any advise would be appreciated!
