Cleaning Tips Design Dilemma

Scale on Citrus

Hello!! i have been battling scale on my grapefruit and lime trees. the trees are doing fine but the scale could get out of hand quickly. i have tried insecticidal soap and have washed them with Dawn dish soap. Does anyone have any tips or products that work? nothing I do kills them all I also remove them by hand. thank you!!!!

Thank you, i have tried that but perhsps I did not apply often enough? Should I apply weekly?

I have had great luck with a cotton swap and rubbing alcohol daubed on each scale

i dont understand your forum choices...

scale is responsive to sprays for a few days in the crawler stage.. otherwise topical sprays have no impact...

if these are not for trees.. you might consider systemic houseplant granules ..

if these are orchard plants.. contact you local county extension office...
