The frame appears to be made of plywood. That would be a deal breaker for me.

I have sold many Nicoletti sofas in my retail life and never had issues with how they function I do however not like reclining sofas from any maker . The construction is IMO often superior in Italian made furniture and I ahe always loved the support sytem used where there are no springs. I have not been in that field for a long time but still choose Italian made leather sofas for myself and clients. Recliners often have issues if very heavy bodies use them and I honestly would not have all the peices in a space reclining . Why not do 2 chairs with ottomans I love Stressless recliners with an ottoman .
