Paint soffit same as trim?

It's finally time to paint the exterior of our newly renovated house. The siding (shakes and lap siding) will be SW Mountain Road, which is a mid-to-darker range sage, and the trim is SW Black Fox, which is a dark brown-black to coordinate with the burnished slate metal roof and the black windows. Should the soffits be painted to match the trim color or the house color?? Or something different?
