Design Dilemma Landscape Design Porches & Decks

needing hot tub landscape ideas

We just poured the pad and hot tub to be delivered in a few weeks. Looking for landscape ideas to the left of the pad to the fence should we put in grass and shrubs? Stone? We were thinking about sone AstroTurf around the tub on the concrete pad but how would that be with dirt so close to it? We don't get much rain in Kelowna but trying to think what would make a nice finishing landscape. Ideas and pictures would be greatly appreciated!

The material you have on the patio seems a good choice. You can get in/out from the patio. Dwarf arborvitae and boulders next to the fence.

These arrn’t very good pictures but you’ll get the idea - we planted arboviete around the hot tub for privacy. The remaining landscaping was simply to enhance the patio area. We enjoyed the spa in all seasons for over 20 years

Really comes down to budget and how maintenance free you want. The ideal would be to continue your rock theme, but use boulders, intermixed with greenery to create a calming/natural feel and add some solar lights.
