One or two lights over kitchen table

We are currently building and putting a table in the kitchen instead of an island. It will be roughly 6’ x 3’. I currently have one light wired in over the center of the table. I’m looking for the specific fixtures to purchase now.. It never occurred to me to have two lights over the table, but now that I’m shopping .. everything is two/three over an island. Of course there aren’t any pictures of fixtures over a table in the kitchen. I think I need a little input from the Houzz community. I’m not exactly sure what kind of fixture I want over the table, it isn’t centered with the window on the back wall of the kitchen. I have a few inspiration photos. It’s hard to find any examples in my style with a kitchen table instead of an island. So, is one light best? We’re very traditional in style with a little bit of country farm mixed in (NOT the “farmhouse” trend).

Also, I read the recommended distance between a light and an island is 30-36”. Is it different for a kitchen table, since it is lower than an island, or would same rule apply? Would that distance interfere with sight lines too much?
