It seems to be a cultivar of a panicle hydrangea but with so many compact varieties of them for sale now a days (Bobos, Strawberry Sundae, Little QF, etc.), I would ask for cuttings in order to get/propagate that exact one. It may even be a larger cultivar too but just young, recently planted. Getting a spring cutting would be my goal. Nice shade of pink blooms indeed. Where did you take the picture? Some restaurants lease the location and a landscape company handles the plantings from the land owner.

Thanks so much for the information, Luis! Honey Jam in Elmhurst, Illinois. They have the best breakfast! I figured that it was maybe either SS, but not LQF - which I think is more upright. Just curious, have you ever grown "Candelabra" hydrangea? I'm looking for 4-5 paniculata for my front walkway. Any recommendations?

Have only grown SS. Other similar ones: Limelight Prime, Silver Dollar, Sweet Summer, Little QF, Dharuma are about 4-5 feet high.

My first guess is Strawberry Sundae. If it grows into a large plant than it is Vanilla Strawberry. Both plants have that cascading habit.

Thanks Luis and Tim! I'll check out the other varieties you mentioned.
