is it cold damage?

I do t think so. It never got colder than 50 outside before it came in.

Treating outdoor plants with insecticide before bringing them in for winter is a common practice. Did you spray your mango?

maybe consider quarantine until you sort out.

I got it from a seller on eBay and have had it for a couple of months. I did not spray any insecticides either.

I purchased a bunch of plant lights mainly for this plant but also to help my other plants that get etiolated in the winter indoors.

Depending on the type of light you are using, they can get too hot if not located at the proper distance to the plants.

It’s not anywhere near being affected by the lighting. But I truly do appreciate your input.

I would say that the soil may be a bit too moist for its liking but this response is like nothing I’ve ever seen in many years of plant husbandry.

I have no experience with mango but all other woody plants I've grown in pots do best if you let them get on the dry side, before getting more water.

Indoors in winter, the moisture requirements can drop dramatically, more when the plant goes dormant. The bark mix in your picture should be ideal growing media with good drainage.

I'd let it dry out for a while to see if it improves.

Most likely soggy soil and/or too much salt accumulation in the soil. I use a very well draining mix - the famous 511 mix by Tapla. There are many threads on that topic in this forum.

I grew mine from seed 25+ years back. Initially, I had the same problems until I switched to a well draining mix. I keep it trimmed to about 4-5 feet high. The trunk is probably 3+ inches in diameter. Since it is from seed and always trimmed it never flowers. Actually, it did flower once - when I was out of town for a few weeks in winter - LOL.
