for a short period of time and then they die. If the soil is high in sand they will last longer.

They look good. Time to feed them

I'm starting to feed with some fertilizer I found at a codemed house. And it not strong N is 6 p9k 6 is this too weak

    It will still work

I have one tree left so to my own mistake I kept my clay too wet and put too much fertilizer the only the strongest survived is that what you want

That is good only if the single survivor continues to live.

I believe it was the strongest one but I might have to wait until spring. To get better fertilizer

When I get to the farm I'm going to use manure as fertilizer

Get the cheapest Daylight rated LED bulb about 60 watt equivalency. That is what I use. I get mine on sale. Don't buy it at Kroger's. They are very expensive there

I had to get a small lamp with a red and Blue spectrum a 5wats with the equivalent of 65wats will this do

    Will this do

Yes That will work fine. You will want to get the light within 8 inches to the tree.

  • last year

I tried to check the roots and it died but I got more Lemons

  • last year

    Ponicirusguy6b452xx

I up rooted that last tree but I. Have many more lemons to get seeds from

  • last year

But this time I don't plant them as deep in clay soil as l would regular potting soil or even loscer soils

  • last year

Is that a good approach for this clay is much more dense so will this work now

  • last year

Get some sand and mix it 50/50 with potting soil. The sand can be found in your street gutter after snow storms.

  • last year

That would be a problem. For me the only way I managed to grow citrus. Seeds is in clay

  • last year

Everytime I don't plant my lemon seeds in clay I have complete failure what's wrong with me can some body tell me

  • last year

Try sprouting in clay and move over to a sandy potting soil.. I see you haven't checked out my link here on a zero degree lemon tree on clay loom soil loving dwarfing rootstock.

  • last year

I tried growing them in any other soil type I fail with but I don't do dwarfing root stocks I'm use to growing in pure clay maybe the type of clay can make a difference

  • last year

    And not clay loam
