Is this acceptable?

Please help. the contractor who is refinishing my hardwood floors is returning tomorrow to put on the finish coat of polyurethane. These are two spots in the hallway that I don't think are acceptable. Am I being too picky? I just know that it will bother me to look down the hallway and see this. This is the first time I've ever had floors refinished, and want to make sure my expectations are reasonable.
Would love some feedback quickly before he arrives tomorrow morning. Thanks!

It's a missed spot with finish. He must be going extra thin. The next coat will cover it up if, it is put on heavy enough. C grade work, not sure, what you paid for it. What's the finish on it?

Duraseal Quick Coat Provencial. He has one coat of satin polyurethane on it. I'm debating having the second coat be semi-gloss because the current finish is dull.

Do you recommend I stick with the satin then or is it okay to go with the semi-gloss for the second coat? I really appreciate your help!

Based on this guy's craftsmanship, go with semi-gloss. Hope that he does a good job smoothng everyhting out.

A $7.50 a square foot guy. I certainly didn't look to go the cheapest route. This company had great reviews but they subcontract. I will wait until he puts a semi-gloss on today to give my final opinion. He did repair the places I was concerned with

Craftsmanship is not worrh $7.50, not even $5.00. i would have them redo it and expect a lot better craftsmanship. i don’t think there were any actual floor guys on the project, just laborers. Company needs to have some pride.
