I don’t think the beams should match the floor, but should complement the color. I got this photo of faux wood beams from decorativeceilingtiles.com. I’ve checked the two that look best to my eye.

I was thinking the same. Like a medium brown/gray. Unfortunately, the person doing this job does not do faux beams but real wood beams and needs me to choose a stain color 🫤.
