Full length mirror between doors. Free-form shaped rug such as animal hide to anchor the “reading nook”. Area rug under bed. Table lamps for night stands.

Please go back and put actual feet and inches to every opening and window ,wall , door on your floor plan. where the door leads, bath, closet , entry etc

Add pictures of the current space as it is now. Note what you like, don't like would change, would not change. Anything less in information is shooting fish in a barrel.

There is a lot of space but not much of it will accommodate vanity/seating/bookcase.

As Jan mentioned, the room’s details are required for you to receive relevant advice. Can you also provide clarity around the type of seating - chair(s) or bench, size/type of bookcase, vanity, ie: willing to give up nightstand for dual functionality.

Also, by providing pictures of what is there it will help in regard to what might suit, style wise.

Hi everyone! Here are pictures, one with more measurements and one of a 3D style rendering of the space and what is currently there and how it’s laid out. Middle door on left is entrance, bottom door on left is closet. Bottom right is a window. I am open to all sort of ideas of what to do with the room and rearrange furniture!

Finally got some pictures of the actual room! Willing to change the side tables. You can see the floor has become our catch-all for the things we don’t have storage for or convenient drop areas. I want to upgrade the mirror as well to either a standing floor mirror or a better wall mounted one.

Left over space and stuff everywhere and all over the floor?NO. You don't want that! You aren't using a generous room to best advantage for everything.

You want a space resembling inviting or peaceful , and organized.

"convenient drop zone" ? NO. NO. No. "Drop" what exactly? You hang clothes. Charge a phone.

Basket books or magazines, purge when done, or make the console below where i have moved the tv....to low bookcase storage! Adequate thought to what you need to store, and where it makes sense.

Add a picture of the interior of the closet and how you may in fact be wasting space as you are here? Add the primary bath photo as well!

Are you ready to rip the edge to edge carpet? That's the only really great way to have an area rug - a hard surface floor.

Then you get a 10' x 14' rug, that can be the start of a great feeling in the room...which would feel like what..... to you?

Thank you Jan! Agreed on the blinds and I like the bed on the wall you recommend. Any thoughts on some sort of shelving placement or where how to include some sort of vanity and chair (I’d love a little makeup station with a chair/ottoman)?

The most important thing in a bedroom is you bed, mattress, and your comfort. You want the queen or ??? A king.
