How is this a "carpet" question? Are you asking what size to get? Where to put the folded rug that is on the floor in the picture? Nobody can tell a thing from your pictures. Draw and measure the room, show the window and closet location and size. Feet and inches for everything.

The bed is the wrong one for the room, too big and heavy, as is the rest- but nobody can help without dimensions

Where to place a carpet is not the first priority here. The room is chock full of furniture and stuff, so you need to get the layout set first, then worry about the rest.

THis is not the time to ask wait until the space has only what belongs there then come back and ask again DO NOT start another post just add the pics here and the floor plan to scale in jpeg format. I aslo think the bed is huge for the space

Assuming that 1/3 or more of the stuff in there belongs in other rooms, one of the things that is making her room look small and cramped is the dark ceiling. Is that a choice that she loves or is that something you plan on changing?

Her furniture is very nice but the flimsy window treatments are not a good match for the style of the furniture.

If you are keeping the same floor, I would probably just do a small area rug on the side where she gets out of bed.

Please post a plan of the room with dimensions showing windows and doors location as well as what furniture you plan on placing in the room.
