If the tomato is patented , recommended for your climate and sold with promises of disease resistance you can't go wrong under the circumstances. If you were in the deep South asking about Sweet 100s I would tell you they are everything they promise. I really think you will have to attack disease problems from multiple directions before you get free of them. Resistant plants are only one of many weapons you'll need. Crop rotation helps ,so does letting ground go without planting or planting specific cover crops. Check with local county agents and ag colleges for guidance tailored to your conditions.
